Mould technology
Our experts make use of some kinds of CAD software such as Ug, Catia, and Pro-e to
accomplish the design of component Warm Extrusion Precise Forming mould, which is
the critical technology of Warm Extrusion Technology. And they continue to improve
and perfect mould structure by experiments to test the credibility of the results of
Finite Element Numerical Simulation. As a logic consequence, YDFT found the methods
to increase model life expectancy by using Combined Convex and Concave Mould
technology; worked out the solution to the problem of part demoulding by using
Sectional Female Die technology; solved the problem of large ratio of height to
diameter Heading Extrusion Instability and fibre flow direction disorders by using
special Heading Extrusion Compound Die technology; implemented longitudinal
reinforcement pick cutter with triangle distribution Warm Extrusion Forming
technology by special Multi-Dimensional Combined Extrusion Mould technology. YDFT
has obtained two national patent by such above technologies, and plan to apply two
other ones.
Advanced Finite Element Technology
It is Building 3D model of some parts in forming process by using CAT software
such?as Ug, Catia, Pro-e and so on, and Numerical simulating of warm extrusion
process of parts by introducing Finite Element Numerical Simulation software; and
get forming force- stroke relation curve, the parameter of forming temperature
field, stress-strain field, forming velocity field; then analyzing the forming rule,
furthermore study the effect of different parameter of material, temperature,
forming velocity and friction to warm extrusion formin process; eventually finding
the optimal value of all kinds of parameters, and providing reliable basis for
improving technology and reducing production cost. This technology has been used in
various complex parts manufacturing.
Other technologies
1.Lubrication technology
It was a tough job for researchers to lubricate warm extrusion mould. But YDFT has
developed different lubricant for different parts, providing a good lubricating
condition between metal blank and forming mould, decreasing the friction force
effect to metal flowing, totally decreasing forming force and improving forming
effect and surface smoothness of components.
2.Warm Extrusion Forming Equipment and Control technology
The special equipments for warm extrusion and hydraulic and electrical control
system developed independently by YDFT have run smoothly and efficiently for many
years.
3.Induction heating technology
Controlling metal induction heating temperature will greatly facilitate warm
extrusion forming process. So YDFT developed induction heating technology of
different bands from power frequency to super sonic frequency independently, which
implemented fast induction heating from 1mm to 200mm.
4.Heat treatment technology
YDFT mastered the key technique of heat treatment specification of various material
and developed special heat treatment production line and advanced technology for the
performance of part depends to large extent on its heat treatment. |
